Broadening our perspective beyond political rhetoric & propaganda

The importance of using our inner wisdom & discernment. We are in month 6 of COVID. Nearly 170,000 people1 have lost their lives to coronavirus and many more have lost their jobs and are struggling to feed their families. During this time, the issue of systemic racism and police violence has risen from street protests to a national debate in our country. And, we are less than 90 days away from a presidential election amidst a pandemic. Regardless of how we each view our current state of affairs, it is reasonable to say, we have never experienced anything like this… [read more]

A spiritual ‘Ted Talk’ for the dawning of a new decade

During a board session with our guides on December 20, Marguerite and Aurelia conveyed that Khaled would be holding a ‘spiritual forum’ on December 24 about the state affairs in the world and here in our country. Khaled is another guide that I channel. Both Eryn and I saw in our mind’s eye a forum similar to a ‘Ted Talk,’ with Khaled and other guest speakers. Eryn and I agreed to connect at 6 p.m. on December 24 from our respective homes and report back to each other about the information we respectively vocal channeled. Below are the words I… [read more]

How comfortable are you with change?

On a recent weekend getaway to Joshua Tree, we decided to connect with spirit among the beauty and splendor of Joshua Tree’s magnificent rock structures. While it was a great idea, it was not very practical (or shall I say ‘comfortable’), so we had to cut it short. But the concept of “change” was brought up by our guides today. Certainly, we are living at time of much change and uncertainty. And this raises in each of us different thoughts and emotions. How do you view change? Do you immediately go to a place of fear, viewing change as a… [read more]

#MeToo: Eryn’s story

It was a Friday night and I received an invitation to celebrate a friend’s birthday at a local brewery. I had previously made this friend after filming on location with him for a few months. He was generally a kind person with an easy disposition, and we laughed a lot through tough moments on set. When I arrived at the brewery I noticed he had had quite a bit to drink, and as the night waned, friends dwindled and he was left inebriated and alone. Concerned, I offered to walk him home to a fellow friend’s house. While… [read more]

A new year, a new board

We are nearing the close of 2017. For many, it’s a time of reflection, celebration and anticipation for the new year. It certainly is for Eryn and I. Just as one would do with friends, we have a tradition of getting together with our spiritual guides. We laugh. We reflect. We express our gratitude for each other. This year-end meeting was particularly special since it’s the first time we are using the new “Convergence Board,” which we designed and produced. Our guides joined together as a Collective to offer a special blessing for our new board, which they… [read more]

#MeToo: Should we shame or transform?

Is social shaming productive? Or does it drive an issue underground, allowing it to grow and later emerge even stronger? This was the heart of our conversation today as Elena and I discussed the #MeToo movement, a social chain reaction resulting from the New York Times article last October, detailing decades of alleged sexual harassment by producer Harvey Weinstein. Khaled, one of our spiritual guides who regularly participates on the board, joined us to explore this topic further. “And what is your emotional response to these stories?” Khaled asked of this pervading shadow in our ‘collective conscious.’ I started by… [read more]

Scarcity: Mother nature suffers silently

In just the past two months, our spiritual guides have invited other ‘beings of light’ to join us on the board.  Eryn and I sensed there was a matter of urgency for on both occasions they have expressed concern and wanted to “bring a message to earth’s children.”  Back in June, Arpad spoke about mankind’s fear of “scarcity” and how it is impacting our planet. You can read about it here. Today, we were joined with another new friend, Seriph. While I tried asking about the escalating threat of North Korea, his focus was also about fear of scarcity and… [read more]

Scarcity: The most vile of illusions

I remember the day when my son brought home a stray dog, which he named ‘Charlie.’ Charlie seemed like a sweet dog, even though he was a little apprehensive with me. I knew he had been roaming the streets for some time; he was clearly undernourished. So I quickly borrowed a bowl from Bella (our four-legged family member), filled it with food, and set it down. Charlie gobbled it up in minutes. When Bella innocently approached the now empty bowl, Charlie attacked her violently. Even though Charlie’s belly was full, his sweet demeanor turned into anger and aggression. This story… [read more]

Mirror, Mirror… A reflection about the truth of your beauty

They say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. So when you look at yourself in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see all the beauty you embody or do you begin to make a mental checklist of all the physical “fixes” you need in order to feel beautiful? Thanks to mass media and advances in technology, we are bombarded by extreme standards of “beauty.” And those standards become more and more difficult to attain, particularly for women. It’s no wonder women are much more self-critical than men. Among women over 18, research states that at… [read more]

Our launch, our intention

We are truly excited to be launching our blog today, which includes a collection of many of the conversations we’ve had with our board members over the past year. At this auspicious moment, we held a special meeting with our board members—for the blog has truly been a co-creation with them. For the first time, they came together as a ‘collective’ [vs individually], an energy quite distinct, yet a resonance which was familiar to us. Here we share their intention [and ours] for the blog and celebrate with much joy the launch of what we hope will be a platform to serve others.… [read more]
